| Abstract | 禪意書畫是對整個中國書畫藝術而言，是指儒、釋、道，甚至是整個傳統文化與書畫藝術的關係，是要將整個書畫藝術放在廣義上的禪學理論框架下探討其發展變化的過程及其當代意義。禪意書畫雖然就整個中國書畫進行觀照，然其核心是強調表達心性的書畫藝術及其理論成果。用個比喻來說，禪意書畫是菜心，而其他各種書畫則是菜葉，二者之間是一體不二的關係。有關禪意書畫的研究，最值得注意的，是基本範疇的研究、玄禪背景下書法藝術的自覺、玄禪背景下繪畫藝術的自覺、禪學與書畫藝術的總體演進方向幾個方面。 |
