AbstractAccording to Sthiramati’s Triṃśikāvijñaptibhāṣya, a yogin reaches the climax of darśana-mārga.At that time vijñaptimātratva is realized. Sthiramati speaks of two meanings with regard to this vijñaptimātratva: One is the vijñaptimātratva inside the mind and the other is acitta, absence of mind. In this state of acitta, reality is realized. The doubt that Sthira­mati’s standpoint might be solipsism disappears by taking into account this reality.
