Abstract | Religious orientation directs individuals to two attitudes, namely an attitude of inclusion, moderation, and respect for different beliefs, and exclusive and harsh or radical attitudes. Both attitudes affect the way these individuals behave in everyday life, including when interacting with others, either who are of the same religion or different religions. Educational institutions become a strategic environment for the formation of religious orientation after the family. Religious education plays a very important role in placing religious values as a solid foundation for life together. The education process must combine school, family and environmental education to increase family care for children's education, build synergy between schools, families and communities. Pluralist religious education needs to be developed since childhood through the habituation of religious culture in carrying out every activity at school. With the habituation of religious attitudes based on Buddhist teachings that are carried out from an early age it is expected to be able to form a character of an inclusive, loving, tolerant, respectful and respectful attitude among others in multicultural social life. So that it can avoid violent conflicts in the name of religion. Buddhism ad heres to inclusivism. Buddhists believe that the Dhammalah is the best teaching, but also do not deny that in other religions there is truth too. Inclusivism believes that all religions teach goodness, even though the terms and teachings are different. |
