| Abstract | 발심의 본질은 신심이다. 이것은 모든 보살행의 시작이다. 그래서 신심은 수행과 깨침의 기초이면서 궁극적으로는 보살행의 완성이기도 하다. 이와 관련하여 보리유지 번역본 금강경의 서두에서는 수보리가「세존이시여, 보살은 대승에서 어떻게 발아뇩다라삼먁삼보리심해야 하고 마땅히 어떻게 住하며 어떻게 수행하고 어떻게 마음을 다스려야 합니까.」 라고 묻는 내용이 있다. 이것을 선수행의 측면으로 보자면 신심은 발심과 수행과 깨침과 교화의 근본이라는 말이다. 그것을 보리달마는 벽관수행으로 드러냈다. 곧 경전의 가르침을 통한 深信이었다. 그것은 중생과 성인이 동일한 청정심을 구비하고 있다는 대명제이기도 하다. 그리고 대혜의 간화선에서의 신심은 화두를 통한 不退轉의 勇猛心으로 나아가기 위한 바탕이요 지속적인 용맹심의 유지이다. 그것이 화두참구라는 행위로 드러났다. 또한 굉지의 묵조선의 신심은 좌선을 통한 深의 완성으로서의 信이고 本證이 自覺된 心으로서 信과 心이 동일시되는 입장이다. 이처럼 祖師禪에서의 신심에 바탕한 수행은 다양한 모습으로 발전되고 전개되었다. 그것은 필연적으로 신심을 바탕으로 한 지속적인 행위가 각각 보리달마의 壁觀의 深信이었다. 대혜종고의 간화선에서는 大信根ㆍㆍ大疑團ㆍ大憤志라는 화두참구의 모습으로 전개되었다. 굉지정각의 묵조선에서는 本證自覺이라는 本來信을 바탕으로 하여 只管打坐의 좌선수행으로 성취되었다. 때문에 신심은 청정심이다. 그 청정심이 深信에 근거하여 현현하고 작용할 때가 그대로 수행이고 깨침이다.
The practice in Patriarchs-seon originate devotion about self-nature. So devotion of self-nature means enlightenment of self-nature. Furthermore, devotion is the foundation of education all beings. First, the most classical form is deep-faiths of Boddhidharma. The term of Patriarchs-seon originate Boddhidharma＇s seon-buddhism transmitted by Hui-neng, the six patriarch in China. Deep-faiths is proposition of all beings ＆ all buddhas which posses essentially the same pure mind. Second, Ta-hui Tsung-kao(1089-1163) emphasis devotion. Eespecially, Ta-hui Tsung-kao exhorted about the subject of Wu. Third, Hung-chieh Cheng-choai(1091-1157) emphasis self-awakening of the original realization, the un-thought and the solely for sitting-poster, So called of silent-penetration seon. Realization of the silent - penetrative seon comes when each principles faces the same position. In that manner, the practice structure of the silent - penetration seon tells us the self - consciousness of essentially realization and, the priority is directly focused on the world of being spiritually awakened, namely, the world of Buddha. Because it is the self - consciousness of essentially realization, there are no distinction between the way to lead for realization and self - discipline. The methods are sitting-poster, self awakening of the original realization and un-thought. Patriarchs-seon, practice, devotion, self-nature, enlightenment, deep-faiths, Boddhidharma, pure mind, Ta-hui Tsung-kao, Hung-chieh Cheng-choai, silent-penetration seon. Realization of the silent - penetrative seon, self - consciousness of essentially realization, sitting-poster, self awakening of the original realization, un-thought. |
