Abstract“Film and Drama Communication” are the general term for films and dramas. It is art, literature, and social life of knowledge transmission and communication. From the foundation of literature, expressing expressions, and propagation, it is shown in front of the public to get life insights and inspiration for life education. The dramatize propagation of Buddhism refers to the cross-academic, literary, and propagation methodology research or actual promotion channels that use the modern media of movies and dramas to achieve the purpose of Buddhism advocation.
This article first reviews the budding and development of Buddhist films, as well as the origins of drama and Buddhism before the appearance of the film, so as to trace the expressions similar to the “Propagation by film and drama” back to the primitive Buddhist period, and then explore the meaning of the language of Buddhist films to explain Buddhism. The characteristics of the film-like propagation by film, combined with the film “ Avalokitesvara “ ( Director: Zhangxin, 2013, China ) as a case study
