| Abstract | 용성은 『금강경』에 대하여 3회에 걸쳐 번역을 하였다. 용성은 수보리의 의심을 바탕으로 경문을 구분지으면서 자신의 견해를 피력하고 있다. 제1회 번역본인 『신역대장경금강경강의』에서는 보시, 불국토장엄, 복덕의 32상, 형상의 32상, 법신의 상, 법신의 진아, 32상의 유무 등 7가지로 파악하였다. 제2회 번역본인 『신역대장금강마하반야바라밀경』에서는 전체적인 의심을 형상, 보리상, 보시, 복덕, 응화신, 법신상, 실아, 삼신상의 8가지로 파악하였다. 제3회 번역본인 『상역과해금강경』에서는 설법의 주체인 사람과 설해진 교법과 교법을 수용하는 사람 등 3가지로 파악하였다. 이들 세 가지 번역본의 공통점은 의심의 해결에 대하여 의문의 내용을 相으로 회통하여 거기에 집착하지 않도록 해준다는 점이었다. 또한 용성이 저술한 것으로 경전의 대의에 해당하는 『윤관』에서는 경문의 내용을 四相과 四見을 바탕으로 하여 먼저 2종의 추혹을 제시하고, 다음으로 1종의 세혹을 제시하여 차제적이고 중층적인 구조로 이해하였다. 또한 경문의 前半에서는 추혹의 사상과 추혹의 사견을 극복하였고, 後半에서는 세혹의 사견을 극복함으로써 전반으로부터 후반에 이르는 단계를 차제적이고 중층적인 번뇌의 타파라는 견해로 해석하였다. 용성의 『금강경』 이해는 천친의 27단의 구성에 닿아 있고, 차제적이고 중층적인 설법의 구조는 길장의 이주설법에 닿아 있다. 그러면서도 공관에 대해서는 삼공으로 이해하고 있다. 곧 용성은 경문의 대의에 따라서 전반에 보이는 四相과 四見의 2종 추혹과 후반에 보이는 四見의 1종 세혹에 대한 타파로 이해하고 있다는 점이 독특하다.
The Backyongsung was zen master of 19c-20c. He translated Vajra cchedikā prajňāpāramitā sūtra, i.e. Chinese character into korean Korean alphabet for three times. First translation and second translation were 1922 year, in addition to that third translation was 1926 year. First name is Shinyukdaejanggyung-Gumganggyung-Gangyi(新譯大藏經金剛經講義), second name is Shinyukdaejang-Gumgangmahabanyabaramilgyung(新譯大藏金剛摩訶般若波羅蜜經), and third is Sangyuk-Gwahae-Gumganggyung(詳譯科解金剛經). In the first translation, Backyongsung presented that seven doubts from Subhūti. And the second translation, presented that eight doubts from Subhūti. And the third translation, presented that three doubts from Subhūti, i.e. the person who lecture Buddhist sermon, the person who attended the Buddhist lecture meeting, and the contents of Buddhist sermon. There are three translation have something in common with samjňā(相: conseption and ideas). Backyongsung emphasized the importance of free from the samjňā. The conquest of samjňā is that acquirement of śūnyatā I.e. non-substance or non-attachment. On the one hand, Backyongsung presented both side about the method for eliminate of attachment. One is that the conquest of four samjňā(四相) and four discriminating thought(四見) through the Gumgangmahabanyabaramil gyung–Junbudaeyi–Yungwan(金剛摩訶般若波羅蜜經全部大義綸貫). The other are the conquest of two loose-confusion the first half and one fineness-confusion the latter half through the three translations of Vajra cchedikā prajňāpāramitā sūtra. |
