| Abstract | 『금강경』은 대승불교 초기 반야부 경전으로서 空 사상이 중심이다. 이 경전에서는 공의 실천으로 무상·무주·무주심 등으로 공사상을 표현하고 있다. 『금강경』이 선종의 소의경전으로서 반야행인 無住相의 心[→無住心]이 여러 측면으로 제시되어 있다. 이 무주상은 경전 서두에서 제시한 `어떤 마음 자세를 가져야 하며, 어떻게 그 마음을 다스려야 하는가?`에 대한 답이기도 하다. 여기서 `그 마음을 다스리는 가?`의 그 마음이란 번뇌심이다. 이 경에서 는 번뇌를 여읜 무주심의 자리가 깨달음의 경지인 청정심의 경지이다. 이 무주심은 應無所住 而生其心으로 표현될 수 있는데, 인간의 지각 대상인 6境에도 집착이나 관념을 두지 말고, 마음을 내라는 뜻이다. 6바라밀에 있어서도 無住相的 行이어야 한다. 또한 이런 無住心이므로 과거ㆍ현재ㆍ미래, 삼세 어떤 시점에서도 마음을 찾을 수 없으며, 파악될 수 없다. 그래서 선사들은 삼세에 마음을 두지도 말고, 마음이 일어났으되 그 일어난 근원자리를 看하라고 하였다. 이러한 측면을 염두에 두고, 『금강경』에 나타난 心을 주제로 선 사상 측면에서 살펴본다.
“The Diamond-sutra” is an early Banyabu scripture of Mahayana Buddhism which focuses its idea in “emptiness.” This scripture is a practice of emptiness and expresses the emptiness idea in doctrines such as empty mind, ownerless and ownerless mind. As a Soeui scripture of Zen sect, “The Diamond-sutra” presents emptiness mind which is Banyahaeng in many aspects. This emptiness mind is also a response to a question `what kind of mind should a person keep, how he must control the mind` which is presented at the beginning of the scripture. The emptiness mind position is in Cheongjeongsim (clean spirit) stage, which is the stage of enlightenment. Such emptiness mind can be described as Eungmusoju Isaenggisim, which means draw out mind without having an obsession or idea in six boundaries which are objects of human`s sense. One must practice a behavior of emptiness mind even in six paramita. Also because it is an emptiness mind, one cannot find its heart and cannot be understood in any stage of three worlds. Therefore, ancestors insisted not to fix mind in the three worlds, but observe the essence of the mind which it was caused. |
