Abstract唐代華嚴學者在深刻理解《華嚴經》中"法界"(dharmadhātu)一詞多重含義及其思想內涵的基礎上,構建了"理法界"與"事法界"范疇。然而,"理法界"與"事法界"的說法本身在《華嚴經》中并不存在。魏晉玄學中"理""事"相對,"理"既是"事"的"共相",又是萬事萬物的"全體與本真",這進而影響到南北朝、隋唐佛學著作中對"理""事"范疇的演繹:從敦煌地論文獻到凈影慧遠的著作,乃至華嚴學者智儼、法藏著述中的"六相"說,展現的正是"理"("全體"與"共相")"事"("個別"與"殊相")間互為條件、同時成立的圓融無礙。"理法界""事法界"范疇,是魏晉以降中國思想界關于理事關系問題討論的延續,又是對《華嚴經》"法界"思想的發展和改造。
