Abstract本文由現代人需要安頓身心這一事實,進一步反思佛法安頓身心之道(可能提供的是以佛法實踐安頓其身心的有效方法。)首先,略述現代人何以需要安頓身心,次明安頓身心可由主、客體兩面進行,並突顯一般從客體進行改善欠當,佛法則以柔性的修持方式,由主體—現代人的心著手經營。續明佛法如何從事現代人心的經營,理論根據來自離苦論轉折到安頓身心的實踐論觀點,安頓身心諸法基礎則同為念實踐義的訓練。以《長部‧大念處經》提示的念實踐可從五種世、出世利益為依據,解明佛法足以安頓其身心暨重要性。最後揭露佛法安頓其身心之道,《念處經》系列給出井然的修持次第,現代人依次實踐就能安頓躁動不安的身心,獲得歡喜、感恩、知足、自在、創造人間淨土、心寂靜等現世法樂,不同於一般的壓制,顯發佛法關懷有情世間的超越展現。
