According to Buddhist sūtras, when Sākyamuni ' was a prince, he had three wives and three sons. Afterwords, three sons all left their home and became his followers. The eldest son, Rāhula, and Upamāna became Arhats. In the initial stage, Sunakşatra practised very hard, lately losed dhyāna and to be evil person because taked his family background of Sākya - seed as arrogance, not only left to follow his own path completely but also be closed to evil friends of outsiders. Owing to persisting in his own opinion and refuing Buddha’s teachings, he was consigned to hell, and beyond rescue. With great sadness, Buddha forseed that Sunakşatra would break Kusala - mūla and become an Icchantika, use every possible means to save him, but invalid. It was all not to damage Buddha’s magnificence but prove that the law of causation he stressed again and again is right:suffer the consequence of what one does. Others can do nothing to hep.
