Abstract晚明禪僧道盛對儒學有其同情的理解,對孔子其人其學別具共鳴與洞見,對《論語》頗見精釋。故本文試闡明其説,以見佛門解儒書之妙義。歷來對顏子之所好何學,雖是儒學關注焦點之一,然而對此好學內容的關鍵句“不遷怒,不貳過”,卻沒有較允妥的解釋;此外孔子對“生死”問題究持何見解,歷來教外也多異説。正巧,道盛對這兩大爭議主題都有出人意表的談論,因此本文由四方面加以考察:(1)先闡明道盛對“不貳過”的新解。其説雖逸出傳統,但可提供新視點。本文也將同時導向對“人的有限性”問題的回應。(2)此等有限性的極端,即死亡。一般認爲《論語》罕言死亡問題,存録數章反遺後世言淺之譏;本文亦呈現道盛對“朝聞道,夕死可矣”章活潑切要的演示與提點。既蘊禪家宗風,也足爲後人悟入孔門論生死問題之參照。(3)順前兩則的相關引文,必論及人由染轉凈由凡轉聖之機,這便是拈出“怨的禪法”的根由。(4)最後則帶出道盛暗示孔子教法與禪相應的特色。總之,本文藉綜理道盛的《論語》新解,觀其如何藉儒典以申明佛學?其闡釋又隱涵那些深義?又對孔子教法有何提點?異於孔子教説之處又何在?且看道盛與孔子的千古相發。
