Abstract 華梵學風的奠基人為曉雲法師,本文以華梵學風為研究主題,其內容涵蓋曉雲法師教育情懷與志業的同步探索,主要呈現法師教育理想在華梵大學創辦及教育史上的實踐過程,由此對華梵大學的教育理念、學風建設進行理論總結和思想昇華,也為研究曉雲法師教育思想提供完整輪廓與基礎材料。
本課題將分八個部分展開論述,第一章介紹本論的研究目的、意圖、方法、範圍、資料準備、論文架構等。第二章梳理曉雲法師的生平及思想,為其餘章節討論華梵學風的形成及內容等作鋪墊。第三章深入考察華梵學風形成的背景,主要涉及時代背景和曉雲法師相關教育理論的思想溯源。第四章釐清華梵學風形成的過程,其中涉及醞釀期、發展期、成熟期,按照時間秩序描繪曉雲法師在華梵大學創辦過程中的思想累積與多方實踐。第五章展開論述華梵學風的內容,上溯東林學風、天臺學風,中追印度那爛陀學風、泰戈爾大學學風,下效西方現代教育及改進,呈現華梵學風的相容古今、吸納中西的廣博特徵。第六章重點論述曉雲法師覺之教育理念的根基、展開和走向,這形成華梵學風的精髓。第七章闡述華梵學風對佛教教育和社會發展的影響。最後一章對本論文的思想與觀點進行總結。
The founder of the Hua Fan academic style is Master Xiao-Yun. This paper takes the Hua Fan academic style as the research theme, covering the synchronous exploration of Master Xiao-Yun's educational sentiments and aspirations. It primarily presents the practical process of the master's educational ideals in the founding of Hua Fan University and its history of education. From this, a theoretical summary and ideological sublimation of the educational philosophy and academic atmosphere construction of Hua Fan University are conducted, providing a complete outline and foundational material for the study of Master Xiao-Yun's educational thoughts.
This topic will be discussed in eight parts. Chapter one introduces the research purpose, intent, methods, scope, data preparation, and thesis structure of this paper. Chapter two combs through the life and thoughts of Master Xiao-Yun, laying the groundwork for the subsequent chapters' discussions on the formation and content of the Hua Fan academic style. Chapter three delves into the background of the formation of the Hua Fan academic style, mainly involving the historical context and the ideological origins of Master Xiao-Yun's related educational theories. Chapter four clarifies the process of the formation of the Hua Fan academic style, involving the incubation period, development period, and maturity period, depicting the accumulation of thoughts and multifaceted practices of Master Xiao-Yun in the founding process of Hua Fan University according to chronological order. Chapter five discusses the content of the Hua Fan academic style, tracing back to the Donglin and Tiantai academic styles, following the Nalanda and Tagore university styles in India, and emulating modern Western education and improvements, presenting the broad characteristics of the Hua Fan academic style that are compatible with both ancient and modern, and integrating Chinese and Western elements. Chapter six focuses on discussing the foundation, development, and direction of Master Xiao-Yun's educational philosophy of enlightenment, which forms the essence of the Hua Fan academic style. Chapter seven elucidates the impact of the Hua Fan academic style on Buddhist education and social development. The final chapter summarizes the thoughts and viewpoints of this thesis.
