Abstract본 연구는 건학이념 구현 공통교양 「불교와 인간」 교과목의 필요성과 운영방법의 개선방향에 대한 탐색이다. 이와 관련된 설문결과를 바탕으로 하며, 결과에 대한 분석과 함께 운영방법의 개선방향에 대한 제안을 시도하였다. 분석결과에서 학생들은 일관되게 「불교와 인간」 교과목의 운영 전반에 변화가 필요하다는 것과 개선해야 하는 원인과 방향에 대해 분명하게 인식하고 있었다. 그 결과를 바탕으로 제언하면 다음과 같다. 첫째는 강의내용의 구성에 실용적이고 실리적인 측면을 반영하고, 교양지식으로서의 불교에 대한 학습 차원으로 내실화하며, 흥미를 유발할 수 있도록 하는 강의안의 보완이다. 둘째는 자기주도적이고 자발적인 학습분위기 조성과 교수방법 개선이다. 셋째는 강의구조와 평가방법의 개선이다. 넷째는 혁신교수법에 대한 안내 및 홍보이다.

This study explores the necessity and improvement directions for implementing the educational philosophy in the common liberal arts course, 'Buddhism and Humanity.' Based on the related survey results, an attempt was made to analyze the findings and propose suggestions for the improvement of operational methods. In the analysis results, students consistently recognized the need for changes in the overall operation of the 'Buddhism and Humanity' course and had a clear understanding of the reasons and directions for improvement. Based on these results, the following recommendations are proposed: Firstly, to reflect practical and realistic aspects in the organization of lecture content, internalizing Buddhism as cultural knowledge and supplementing lecture materials to generate interest. Secondly, to foster a self-directed and voluntary learning atmosphere and improve teaching methods. Thirdly, to improve the structure of lectures and evaluation methods. Lastly, to provide guidance and promotion for innovative teaching methods.
