抄録 | This paper will focus on Vajrayana Buddhism (the Diamond Vehicle, sometimes spoken of as the Thunderbolt Vehicle. Vajrayana in Sanskrit means both diamond and thunderbolt. Tantric expressions in Tibet during the period of 700-800 CE and after became an export to the world with its foundations in art history firmly established. The word tantra means to weave something through. It too is a Sanskrit word. This precept of weaving through encompasses ideas that the fabric of cellular life, the essences of quick flashes of thought combined with every molecule and atom of the universe are forever moving and changing and the tantric student or adept is an essential aspect of this phenomenon. |
