抄録 | I examined the revelation of the self in Dogen in this paper. As a result,it may have become clear that Dogen grappled with the problem of the self with the whole of his being, and that not only did he present a logical picture of the world as the self and the self as the world, but in his actual everyday life he was also aware of his inadequacies and sought to return to this true mode of being of the self,a mode of being which manifests itself as compassion or action for the welfare of others. |
