抄録 | Part One offers a complete interpretation of Nietzsche's philosophy as an expression of the problems of truth, value, and relativism in the modern world and examines his vision of existence beyond "nihilism." Part Two examines Wittgenstein's lifetime philosophical project as addressing,in a radically new way,the overcoming of nihilism through realizing "the groundlessness of the human situation," thereby restoring "truth" to its legitimate place within the conventions of language. Part Three juxtaposes Nietzsche's "metaphysical scepticism" with Wittgenstein's "new way of seeing" (linked to "Buddhist" philosophy) and explores the spiritual implications for modern man of seeing clearly "the limits" of language. |
