抄録 | 本文主是探討北平圖書館寄存本院的二本西夏文刊本《金光明最勝王經》卷七和卷九的扉畫,首先依據此經〈流傳序〉和〈跋文〉的記載,考訂本書的版本,及其刊印的目的; 其次針對扉畫本身,從圖像旁的西夏文題記,再配合經典的原文,逐次說明每個圖像的意義和所描繪的情節; 第三由版畫的技巧和佛教版畫發展的歷程,分析此二幅扉畫的價值,歸納成三個特點:1.內容詳實,切重要點; 2.構圖新穎,頗富奇趣; 3.扉畫奇珍,經變瑰寶.
The discussion of the present paper centres around the frontispieces of fascicles seven and nine respectively of two Tangut blockprints of the Sutra of Golden Light which the Palace Museum keeps for the Peiping Library. First, on the basis of the information given in the preface and the colophon, it is established with which editions we are dealing here. Secondly, the meaning and contents of the frontispieces is elucidated step by step with reference to the headings of the picture and the text of the scripture proper. Finally, the value of the illustrations is analyzed in terms of artistic skill and the development of Buddhist book illustrations. Three features stand out:the depiction is realistic and captures what is essential; the arrangement is novel and rich in special effects; as frontispieces the illustrations which depict the contents of the scripture are rare and precious. |
