抄録 | This article reveals that the Buddha and succeeding teachers use the metaphor of a path, which is often the Noble Eightfold, as the most common way to portray his Dhamma teachings. The Dhamma, the most common image of which is a wheel with twelve spokes, depicts the web of Dependent Arising and Ceasing and is an accurate representation of the Path as a web of causes and conditions whereby reality shifts. The article also discusses the "Nibbana" as well as meditation and mindfulness. |
