抄録 | Jātakas refer to stories where Buddha was an active participant in a previous incarnation, while in avadānas he was on the sideline. It became evident that the subjects embark on all aspects of life. Reading an individual story, one finds that there are several aspects and it is not easy – as a matter of fact – arbitrary, to pick out one moral, for the purpose of presentation. Different readers may classify them differently. While the story originated in India, migrating through Arabian, Persian, North-African and Europian media it spread all over the world. |
