抄録 | 唐代前期是菩薩造像的鼎盛期 ,亦是菩薩佩飾得到極大發展的時期。頭冠作為菩薩身份象征物之一 ,兼具佛教象征意義及世俗裝飾意義 ,我們于此可以考見民族文化發展的軌跡和各民族間的相互影響。本文依據相關圖片及文字資料 ,試圖對敦煌石窟中唐代前期菩薩頭冠加以探討 ,以期能較透徹地掌握敦煌此期菩薩佩飾的發生演變。
During the Tang Dynasty, in particular, the Early-Tang period, was a period of great prosperity when the massive Bodhisattva’s images were build and at the same time the presentation of Bodhisattvas’ decorations in wearing apparel and adornment had developed rapidly. Crown, which had been wearing by every Bodhisattvas was served as one of the most important symbols of the Bodhisattva’s identity, possess the implication of Bodhisattva’s symbolism and secular decoration. As a result, by a careful study of Bodhisattva’s crown, we could discover the traces of a nation’s cultural development and the mutual influences among the different nations. The account of Bodhisattva’s crown can be found in the related historical records that had recorded the relative references in help with research of Dunhuang Art and the image building of Bodhisattva. This article is trying to discuss the problem by making a comparative study on Bodhisattva’s crown of the Early-Tang period in terms of its variety, occurrence and development of Bodhisattva’s decoration and aesthetic connotation so as to understand the occurrence and development of Bodhisattva’s decorations at that time and to inherit the fine tradition to serve the contemporary garment designing. |
