抄録 | 上世紀90年代青州七級寺遺址出土了一件一佛二菩薩背屏式造像,沒有明確紀年。關於其年代學界存有爭議,簡報作者將其時代定為北魏,有些學者則將其定為東魏。作者試圖通過排比青州地區背屏式造像,梳理、總結該地區背屏式造像形式的發展演變規律,進而推定該造像的年代。
A collection of statues including one Buddha and two bodhisattvas with a back screen was unearthed from an archaeological site at the Qiji Temple in Qingzhou, but the statues have yet to be dated exactly.The author of one brief report speculates that they are from the Northern Wei dynasty but other scholars believe them to date from the Eastern Wei dynasty, and the issue has yet to be satisfactorily resolved. This paper uses a comparative and textual methodology to date this statue by comparing it with statues of the same type from the Qingzhou region and by summarizing the evolutionary principles that determined this style of artwork and thus set it apart from other historical instances of Buddhist sculpture. |
