| 抄録 | 한중 양국은 예로부터 교류가 빈번하였다. 불교문화는 양국을 연결하는 중요한 유대이다. 근현대 시기의 한국 불교는 특수한 일본 식민지를 거쳐 굴곡이 심한 시기에 근대화를 거쳤다. 혁파 과정에서 불교 통합 종단의 명칭이 변경되었다. 결국 1962년에 ‘대한불교조계종’이 공식적으로 출범했다. 조계종은 현재 한국 불교를 대표하는 제일 큰 종단이다. 조계종의 종정(宗正)은 바로 현대 한국 불교의 발전을 이끈 핵심 인물이다. 1935년, 성철선사가 <신심명>, <증도가>를 읽고 감명을 받아 거사로서 수행하였다. 1936년에 출가하여, 동산 혜일(1890-1965)의 법맥에 올라, 용성 진종의 법손이 되었다. 성철스님은 조계종 6, 7대 종정이다. 그는 해인 총림의 첫 방장으로 재임하는 동안 해인 총림의 돈오돈수 선풍을 확립했다. 종정 10여 년 동안 대중을 선문정로로 인도하는데 전념하여 남종선의 본래 모습을 드러내었다. 성철스님의 불교관과 수행론은 현대 한국 불교에 중요한 영향을 미쳤다고 할 수 있다. 성철스님의 ‘돈오점수’ 비판과 ‘돈오돈수’ 주장은 한국 불교계는 물론 학계에서도 돈점수행에 대한 심도 있는 논의를 촉진하고 있다. 그리고 한국선의 본질과 특징에 대한 재인식은 전통수행법의 현대적 변천을 촉진하고 한국 선문을 남종선 수행 전통으로 회귀하는 길로 이끌면서 일대 승가의 수행관에 영향을 미쳤다.
While Korea and China have had frequent exchanges since ancient times, Buddhist culture is an important bond linking the two countries. After a special Japanese colony of Korean Buddhism in the modern era, it was modernized at a time of severe flexion. The name of the Buddhist unity sect was changed during the revolution. Eventually, the "Korea Buddhist Order" was officially launched in 1962. The Jogye Order is currently the first major sect representing Korean Buddhism. The Jogye Order's species is the key figure who led the development of modern Korean Buddhism. In 1935, Seongcheol was impressed by Yeong-ga's 'The Goddess of Truth' and performed it as a lyric. In 1936, He became a monk. Seongcheol is the 6th and 7th Jongjeong of the Jogye Order. During his tenure as the first chief of the Heain Chongnim, he established the absurdity of Don Oh Don Soo, the Heain Chongnim. During the last ten years or so, he devoted himself to guiding the public to the "Seonmun-jeongno" revealing Nam Jong-sun's original appearance. Seongcheol's view of Buddhism and the theory of performance were important influences on modern Korean Buddhism. Seongcheol's criticism of the "don-o-jeom-su" and his claim of "don-o-don-su" are facilitating in-depth discussions on money-scoring practices not only in the Korean Buddhist community but also in academia. And the re-recognition of the nature and characteristics of Korean ships influenced the performance of a great victory, promoting the modern transformation of traditional performance law and leading Korean texts to the path of returning to the tradition of carrying out Namjong-seon. |
