| 抄録 | This study aims to assess the value of the Jishō Sekkogi mon (事鈔節古義文) as a reference source in the study of the Nanshan lüzong (南山律宗) in the Northern Song period. This work is the oldest existing commentary on Yuanzhao’s (元照) representative work, Zichi ji (資持記), with numerous citations from the Sifenlü Xingshichao (四分律行事鈔) commentaries, including Xijue’s (希覚) Zenghui ji (増輝記) and Yunkan’s (允堪) Huizhengji (会正記), which are scattered and lost. In this paper, we consider the interpretations of Wusheng (五乗) cited in the Jishō Sekkogi mon and observe differences between Yuanzhao and Yunkan’s opinions regarding the practice of the precepts and enlightenment. The Jishō Sekkogi mon contains important descriptions that provide insights on the relationship between Yuanzhao’s Zichi ji and other commentators and has significant value as a source. |
