| 抄録 | 僧名是佛教開始中國化後的事情。姓名是個人的符號，在中國有規律的姓名符號系統構成了一種家族形態的表現形式，而進入中土後的佛教為了與儒家分庭抗禮，用另起僧名追隨釋姓的部分來標新立異。但久之也未免露出受到家族社會影響的蛛絲馬跡來，從而發生了符號使用的交叉現象，成為中印兩種社會文化交流的一個側面。
Buddhist Names came into being when Buddhism was influenced by Chinese culture. As is known to all, name symbolizes a person and the Chinese name system represents a family-clan. Buddhism, after it was introduced into China, attempted to distinguish itself from Confucianism with a Buddhist name. However, as time went by, Buddhist names were under the influence of the clan-oriented society, resulting in a confusion of using these names. All of this reflected to some extent the Sino-Indian cultural exchange and communication. |
