| 抄録 | 莫高窟第491窟是1965年新發現的一個底層洞窟，窟內主尊塑像的尊格可能是地藏菩薩，主尊塑像兩側脅侍塑像可能分別是善童子和惡童子，反映了敦煌北宋至西夏時期的地藏信仰。
Mogao Cave 491 is a cave on the ground level of the Dunhuang cave complex discovered in 1965 that contains
several previously unidentified statues. This research proposes that the main statue in the cave likely represents Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, while the two statues flanking this one are likely the two children in Buddhism in charge of recording good and evilacts.
This combination of statuary clearly reflects the belief in Ksitigarbha popular in Dunhuang from the Northern Song to the Western Xia dynasty. |
