抄録 | 敦煌佛爺廟灣魏晉壁畫墓中出現了較多的鸚鵡圖像,該題材并不見于傳統漢墓裝飾,也未見于其他地區的同時期墓葬,而敦煌地區乃至西域正好有出產鸚鵡的記載,并深刻地影響魏晉文化,鸚鵡圖像的出現應該是漢代以來傳統喪葬文化與河西本地乃至西域物產、文化相結合的產物。一方面作為神仙化了的奇禽異獸出現在照墻磚畫中;另一方面固定出現在表示墓主靈座的帷帳壁畫上,不僅作為一種玩好,還可能具有象征“亡人居宅”的喪葬內涵。
Several images of parrots have been found in the murals in tombs from the Wei-Jin dynasty period at Foyemiaowan in Dunhuang. This motif is not seen in traditional Han dynasty tomb decorations nor in tombs of the same period in other places, though there are records that parrots were depicted in the art of Dunhuang and the Western Regions, locations that deeply influenced the culture of the period. It is very likely that the appearance of these images was the result of the combination between traditional funeral culture and the cultural products of the Hexi region and the Western Regions. On the one hand, the parrots in the brick paintings on the screen walls erected in front of the gate to the tomb were depicted as deified birds and beasts, on the other hand, the images painted on the curtains covering the memorial tablet for the owner of the tomb often appear in roles more akin to pets and even seem to be intended as a funerary culture symbol of the future residence for the deceased. |
