| 抄録 | 백파의 『선문오종강요사기』는 직접적으로는 환성지안의 『선문오종강요』에 대한 주석서이다. 그러나 백파는 『사기}』뿐만 아니라 기존의 선종오가의 교의에 대한 저술을 답습하면서 환성의 입장과는 달리 오직 임제종 정통의 입장에서 오가를 판별하였다. 그 기본적인 사상이 곧 임제삼구였다. 때문에 임제삼구에 대한 백파의 견해가 무엇인가를 이해함으로써 백파의 『사기』의 성격과 그 특징을 파악할 수가 있다. 백파는 임제의 삼구에 대하여 전체적인 의미에서는 온총삼구로 간주하여 그것을 본분일구로 간주하였다. 그리고 삼구의 개별적인 의미에서는 본분삼구로 간주하였다. 때문에 삼구의 낱낱에는 다시 각각의 삼구가 들어 있는데, 제일구와 제이구와 제삼구에 대하여 각각 삼요와 삼현과 신훈삼구라는 의미를 부여하였다. 또한 삼구를 수직적인 양중삼구로 간주하여 본분삼구와 신훈삼구로 분류하고, 다시 수평적인 양중삼구로 간주하여 이․사삼구와 권․실삼구로 분류하였다. 또한 임제삼구를 중심으로 임제의 다른 교의인 삼현과 심요와 사요간과 사조용 등을 판별하였다. 나아가서 임제삼구의 제일구와 제이구와 제삼구의 교의에 대하여 선종오가를 각각 조사선과 여래선과 의리선으로 평가한 것은 임제종 정통의 기존 입장을 더욱더 확실하게 다진 것이었다. 『사기』의 이와 같은 관점은 『사기』보다 2년 후에 출현하는 {선문수경}에서 보다 폭넓게 주장되었다.
The SEONMOON - OJONG - GANGYO - SAGI is an annotated book of SEONMOON - OJONG - GANGYO by Hwangsung-Jian in the late of Joseon-dynasty. OJONG means the five seon-sects formed in the Dang-dynasty. So called, the Southern seon school was divided into the five sects : Lin-chi, Yün-mên, Tsao-tung, Wei-yang and Fa-yen. BACKPA emphasized the Linchi-tri-phrases by SEONMOON - OJONG - GANGYO - SAGI. That is, the Linchi-tri-phrases were consist of two-types the tri-phrases. First are original tri-phrase and acquired tri-phrase. Second are essence-tri-phrase and form-tri-phrase. And BACKPA emphasized the Linchi tri-phrases each other, so called, the first-phrase, the second-phrase and the third-phrase. Among these tri-phrases, the first-phrase correspond to tri-words : beyond discrimination, identical with enlightened persons, beyond ordinary words. Among these tri-phrases, the second-phrase correspond to the teaching methods by Lin-chi I-hsüan : real, free and wondrous. Among these tri-phrases, the third-phrase correspond to the great-crux and great-action. And BACKPA emphasized that the five sects : Lin-chi, Yün-mên, Tsao-tung, Wei-yang and Fa-yen are arranged in tri-seons. Tri-seons are the Patriarch-seon, the Tathāgata-seon and the Doctrine-seon. BACKPA arranged to the Patriarch-seon are Lin-chi seon and Yün-mên seon, and the Tathāgata-seon are Tsao-tung seon, Wei-yang seon and Fa-yen seon. |
