| 抄録 | 본 논문은 『삼문직지』의 편찬 체제와 의도, 그리고 의례·의식의 서술 특징에 대하여 살펴보았다. 『삼문직지』는 첫째, 염불문·원돈문·경절문의 삼문을 동등한 위치에서 독립적으로 구성하고, 각 문의 내용은 이론과 실제를 구분하여 설명하였다. 둘째, 이론에 해당하는 내용은 여러 불서에서 발췌하여 편집하였다. 셋째, 실제 수행방법을 설명하기 위해 그림과 언해(諺解)를 활용하였다. 넷째, 의례·의식을 설명하기 위한 세주(細註)와 협주(夾註), 그리고 선원의 규칙 등 일부 내용은 편찬자가 직접 서술한 내용이 포함된 것으로 보인다. 다섯째, 인용전적은 우리나라 스님과 관련이 있는 글을 의도적으로 앞에 배치하였다. 여섯째, 『삼문직지』는 승가 교육과 관련하여 삼문수업과 의례·의식에 대한 기본적인 이해를 돕기 위해 편찬되었다고 추정된다.
This paper examined the system and intention of the compilation of Sammunjikj (『三門直指』) and the features in the narration of rites and rituals in the book. First, the three gates of yeombulmun(念佛門), wonmunmun (圓頓門), and gyeongjeolmun (徑截門) were composed independently at equal positions, and in terms of details on each gate, theory and practice were explained separately. Second, theories were extracted and compiled from various Buddhist documents. Third, illustrations and annotation in Korean were used to explain the actual methods of practice. Fourth, some explanation of rites and rituals such as detailed annotation, annotation in parentheses, and rules of Seon temples seem to include the writings of the author. Fifth, as for the citations, those related to Korean Buddhist monks were deliberately placed in the former part of this book. Sixth, it is presumed that this book was compiled to give a basic understanding of three-gate education and rites and rituals in relation to Buddhist education. |
