| 抄録 | 이 글은 일본의 현대불교와 관련하여 SGI(Soka Gakkai International, 國際創價學會) 명예회장, 이케다 다이사쿠의 군사부일체(君師父一體) 정신의 ‘복덕혜전(福德慧田)’에 근거한 세계시민성 함양연구를 목적으로 한다. 21세기는 종교전통에서 벗어나 생명의 보편적 영성을 중시하는 방향으로 선회한다. 붓다가 발하는 반야지혜의 대광(大光)’은 ‘생명보탑을 빛내는 빛’으로 해석된다. 인류가 20세기까지 물질토대의 진보주의 가치를 중시한 결과 인간생명의 존엄가치를 상실하거나 경시하게 되었다. 붓다 가르침의 정수, 『법화경』은 인간 내면 깊이의 우주생명을 표상하여 개체생명에 성불종자를 뿌리는 ‘하종익(下種益)’을 중시한다. 붓다는 ‘하종익(下種益)’을 서원(誓願)함으로 개체생명과 우주생명을 이어주고 매개하는 선교방편을 마련하였다. 본 연구는 문헌연구와 해석학 방법을 병행하여 이케다 다이사쿠의 세계시민성 함양 방안을 탐색한다. SGI는 현대문화에 보살운동을 접맥시켜 생명존중과 인권운동 이념에 바탕을 두면서 생명에 대한 경외심을 실천으로 이행함을 목표로 삼았다. 세계화가 물질문명에 의한 획일화를 강요하기에, 그 대안으로 다양한 문명과의 대화와 융합을 모색한 SGI는 새로운 가치를 창조하고 회복하는 실천운동을 전개하였다. SGI는 생명혁명, 가치혁명, 생활혁명의 삼차연동을 요구하면서, 개체생명이 우주생명이 ‘불이(不二)’ 연동임을 실천적 생명자각운동으로 전개하였다. ‘지금 여기’ 행복 가치를 창조함에 있어서 ‘복덕혜전(福德慧田)’에 근거하여 평화, 교육, 문화가 삼위일체로 아우러진 세계시민성 함양 실천을 모색한다. 군사부일체 정신을 현대에 살려, ‘주덕(主德)’ 책임의식으로 세계시민성을 함양하며, ‘세계지속평화’ 가치를 창조한다. ‘사덕(師德)’ 반야지혜로 세계시민성을 함양하며, ‘세계시민교육’ 가치를 창조한다. ‘친덕(親德)’ 자비실천으로 세계시민성을 함양하며, ‘세계연대문화’ 가치를 창조한다. 이처럼 해석학 방법에 근거하여 SGI의 세계시민성 함양을 분석함에 있어 ‘복덕혜전(福德慧田)’의 밭에 세계시민과 더불어 행복한 공공행복(公共幸福)담론에 초점을 두고자 한다. 창가(創價)는 가치창조로서 현대문화와 접목하여 SGI가 어떤 방향으로 가치창조를 이루는가를 이해하면, 일본 현대불교, SGI를 보다 새롭게 이해할 수 있는 계기를 마련할 수 있을 것이다.
This article is aimed at researching global citizenship based on SGI’s honorary president, Ikeda Daisaku's' teachings in the fields of happiness, virtue and wisdom. The 21st century is devoid of the traditions of individual religions and emphasizes the universal spirituality of life. As humanity pursued the progressive value of the material base by the 20th century, it has been depreciated the value of human dignity. The Buddha's teachings in the Saddharma Pundarika Sutra, emphasizes the ‘Sprinkle seed down’, which represents the universe life deep inside human beings and distributes seeds to the regenerated life. This study is composed of literature and hermeneutics. SGI has developed a Bodhisattva movement. Bodhisattva movement is based on respect for life and the human rights movement. We cultivate the awe of life to global citizenship. If the globalization forces uniformization by material civilization, it calls for action movement to create and restore value through dialogue with various civilizations. Therefore, it is required to link life revolution, value revolution and living revolution. Although the individual life is not the universe life, it develops into the action movement that is unified with the universe by the subjective change. The happiness value creation of ‘here now’ is related to the way of cultivating global citizenship based on the fields of happiness, virtue and wisdom, where peace, education, and culture are trinity. It will cultivate the citizenship of the world through the responsibility of Ruler's virtue and create the value of ‘World Sustainable Peace’. It cultivates global citizenship and creates ‘Global Citizen Education’ value through Master's virtue. It will cultivate global citizenship through the mercy of ‘Parental virtue’ and the value of ‘World Solidarity Culture.’ In this way, SGI's global citizenship cultivation can be analyzed in a hermeneutic way, and public common happiness discourse can be developed with the citizens of the world in the field happiness, virtue and wisdom. The window is a value creation. By understanding the way in which value creation takes place by combining with modern culture, it is possible to create an opportunity to renew SGI understanding in the form of Modern Buddhism.
