| 抄録 | El artículo describe el movimiento en Camboya en torno del líder budista laico Buth Savong, quien adquirió prominencia en el país desde la década de 1990. Entre las características del movimiento está la atención prestada a la organización espacial de los templos y asram afiliados a Buth Savong y el interés en la instalación de las reliquias de Buda. El artículo expone el movimiento en el contexto del cambio sociopolítico de Camboya y discute la implicación de este nuevo interés en las reliquias con base en tres estudios de caso.
The article describes the movement in Cambodia surrounding the lay Buddhist leader Buth Savong, who has come to prominence in the country since the 1990s. Among the characteristics of this organization is attention to the spatial organization of the temples and ashrams affiliated with Buth Savong and an emphasis on the installation of Buddha relics. The article explores the movement in the context of Cambodian socio-political change and discusses the implication of this new emphasis on relics, giving three case studies. |
