| 抄録 | 西方的科技文明給人類帶來物質上的豐富和便利，形成所謂『全球化』。然而，這種全球化的黑洞，包括環境問題、貧富差距擴大、難民激增、民族、宗教、文化的紛爭等。如何修補裂縫，拯救危機？東方思想文化應是公認的良方。本書綜合一場『全球化時代東方思想文化對企業社會責任的啟示』的講座中，梁乃崇教授、陳國鎮教授、王立文教受等學者專家的意見，修潤成文，旨在傳達東方思想的精華，人類如果能回歸『天人合一的共生思想』，遵循人與自然為一體的『整體主義的世界觀』，洞察『自然存在于人的內在價值』、清楚『人在世界中的地位』，我們就能得到『有為』和『無為』的分際，這就是東方思維提供給人類的高妙啟示。
Western culture, nourished by science and technology, has brought about an abundant and convenient environment to the human race, turing the world into a “global village”. However, this kind of “globalization” conceals many dangers. Environmental concerns, gaps between the rich and the poor, refugees, national, religious or cultural conflicts, are just a few among others. The relationship between an agent and other people, between a person and the world, and between human beings and nature is becoming more and more alienating and tense. Hoe to mend the damage and save the crisis? Oriental thinkings may be able to provide inspirations. This article sums up the opinions and experts in a seminar called “Eastern Culture on Coporate Responsibility in an Era of Globalization”. It is argued that only if the human race can return to the unity of human and nature, understand that the world is a whole, nature is an intrinsic value, and human beings have a special place in the world, they could have proper understanding of “wei” and “wuwei”, viz., “do” and “not to do”. This is the teaching Oriental Philosophies can provide to us.
