| 抄録 | 作為智顗生前的助手及其圓寂後的接班人，灌頂在天臺宗發展史上舉足輕重。可以說，天臺宗創始於智顗，但卻成熟於灌頂，這有三方面的表現：他將智顗一生所宣講的「天臺學」整理結集成文字流傳後世，使天臺宗有了自己的文字經典；他為智顗集史作傳，使天臺宗有了自己的教主；他將還不太為人所熟悉的「天臺學」與當時在社會上有廣泛群眾基礎的「涅槃學」進行融通，引導大批「涅槃學」的信徒皈依於天臺宗，使天臺宗有了自己的組織體系。這最後一個方面體現了灌頂在佛學上的創新以及對智顗的超越，並最終使天臺宗成為一個強有力的既有理論體系又擁有較多信徒的有組織的佛教宗派。
Guan Ding, Zhi Yi's aide and successor, plays an important role in the development of Tiantai Sect. Tiantai Sect is established by Zhi Yi and Guan Ding helps to reach its maturity: first, be collects and edits what Zhi Yi has preached and makes it classic of Tiantai Sect; second, he writes a biography for Zhi Yi's works, and Tiantai Sects thus has its own founder; lastly, he mixes “Study of Tiantai”, unfamiliar to people at that time, and prevailing “Buddhism”, which makes many followers of “Buddhism” converted to Tiantai Sect and Tiantai Sect thus owns its organization, which shows Guan Ding’s bringing new ideas in the Buddhism and his surpassing. Tiantai Sect consequently turns into a forceful Buddhism organization with many followers and its own theoretical system. |
