抄録 | 本文透過敦煌文獻、佛教文獻與人物史傳,處理學界佛教界對《水懺》與<水懺序>間一直混淆不清的三個問題。其一,《水懺》的主體內容,早在六世紀時已含備在敦煌本二十卷《佛名經》中,並不是<水懺序>中所說的唐代悟達國師(知玄,811~933A.D.)所撰。其二,《水懺》的主體內容(三障懺悔文字)是印度大乗佛教「以水洗瘡」的緣起療心之懺悔譬喻,其根本方法是眾生須以緣起的「慈悲心力」、「悲喜心水」進行懺悔,不是依賴<水懺序>中迦諾迦尊者的「三昧法水」。其三,《水懺》與<水懺序>其實是兩篇截然不同、各自獨立的懺悔文字,不可勉強合一。亦即,六世紀時的《水懺》,不等於十五世紀神異化後的《三昧水懺》,若勉強將二法合一,即將嚴重誤解古德撰寫《水懺》之初衷。
In this paper, the three questions consistently confused between "Buddhist Water-confession Ritual"in the academic and Buddhist sectors have been handled through Tun Huang literature, Buddhist literature and historical/biograghic data. The first one is that, the main content of "Buddhist Water-confession Ritual" had been included in Vol. 20, Tun Huang version(Buddha Name Sutra) in the 6th century rather than as said by "The Preface of Buddhist Water-confession ritual" that is was written by BUddhist leader Wu Ta(CHin Hsuan, 811~833A.D.) during Tang dynasty. The second one is that, the main content of "Buddhist Water-confession ritual"(three-obstacle confession text) was a confession metephor of origin mind therapy-"washing an ulcer with water" in the Mahayana of India, which suggested the fundamental method for the sentient beings to confess should use the origin-related "mind power of mercy", "compassion-joy water of mind" instead of relying on "Samadhi Buddha-truth water of the reverend Cha No Ka in "The Preface of Buddhist Water-confession ritual". The third one is that, in fact "Buddhist Water-confession ritual" and "The Preface of Buddhist Water-confession ritual" are totally different texts of confession independently from each other, not allowed to be combined in one reluctantly. That is to say, "Buddhist Water-confession ritual" in the 6th century is not equal to "Samadhi Water-confession Ritual" after the 15th century. The motif of the ancint master who wrote "Buddhist Water-confession ritual" will be seriously misunderstood if if the two rituals were combined reluctantly. |
