| 抄録 | In Buddhist ethics, there is a close integration of the ethical as rational argument and analysis, as a normative recommendation for the good life，as a social expression of harmonious living，an intense personal quest and as a mode of character development. It is critical of the current theories of determinism and indeterminism and upholds a notion of free will and the distinction between good and bad，and all these are coloured by the Buddhist concept of moral causation. Buddhist ethics in its own way has a "consequentialist" focus, while rights and duties are respected. Upholds a sophisticated altruism and a way of dealing with the fact-value dichotomy. |
