抄録 | Dr Peter Della Santina will share with the participants his insight and knowledge on the Buddhist tradition of mental development. What do we mean by mental development? It is not confined to the brief period of our lives when we sit crossed-legged,counting our breath or looking at an image or reciting a mantra. By mental development,we mean all those techniques or methods whereby we can change our mental orientation, changing the way in which we view ourselves and the world around us. In the Buddhist tradition of mental development,we are concerned with the integration of our meditation and our daily experience. In a sense,we are trying to make our daily experience a part of our meditation,as well as making meditation a part of our daily experience. This course explains how we can develop our mind in order to improve and transform the nature and quality of our life within the framework of the Buddhist tradition. |
