| 抄録 | 台南永康妙心寺住持傳道法師，為印順導師的私淑者，經由間接研讀導師的著作，以及直接請益，終於尋得弘揚人間佛教思想與行動的「源頭活水」。
傳道法師弘揚人間佛教，終極關懷在於此時、此地、此人的關懷與淨化，從而揭櫫從人而菩薩──由人發心學菩薩行，由學菩薩行而成佛，此即人間佛教論題的核心要義。
本文試從內修、外弘來探討傳道法師有關其推動及落實人間佛教的理路，以思想準則建構人間佛教修行藍圖，以行動實踐人間淨土的可能性。
Ven. Chuan-dao, Abbot of Miao-shin Temple, in Yong-kang, Tai-nan, views Mater Yin-shun as his mentor, by reading the writings of the Master and directly received Master’s instructions, he finally finds the cause/source to promote Buddhist thought and actions.
To promote Humanistic Buddhism, Ven. Chuan-dao’s ultimate concern is for the purification of “this” person, at “this” moment, and at “this” place. He reveals that the core of Humanistic Buddhism lies in a person’s learning to be the Bodhisattva; through which he or she at first vows to learn how the Bodhisattva behaves, and then through learning the behavior of the Bodhisattva, he or she becomes Buddha in the end.
This article intends to discuss Ven. Chuan-dao’s ways to promote and fulfill Humanistic Buddhism in both his self-cultivation and behavior and how he constructs the blueprint of practicing to be Buddha in the idea of Humanistic Buddhism, and the possibilities of realizing the pure land on earth through actions. |
