| 抄録 | 翟氏是歸義軍節度使曹元忠的唯一夫人。她不僅崇信佛教,而且積極推崇佛事,主要表現在三個方面:積極協助歸義軍節度使曹元忠在莫高窟和榆林窟開窟造像,還重修了北大像;身體力行地參與各種佛事活動;經常組織和帶動家人及姻親婦女從事施舍、供養之事。正是翟氏夫人對佛教的熱忱和參與佛事活動的表率作用,極大地推動了敦煌的佛教文化事業。她是繼回鶻天公主之后又一位活躍在敦煌政治文化舞臺上的杰出女性。
Lady Zhai is the only wife of Cao Yuanzhong,governor of the Return-to-Allegiance Army.She not only believed in Buddhism,but also took part in many Buddhist activities,which was mainly reflected in three aspects: First,she helped her husband to construct caves at the Mao Grottoes and Yulin Grottoes at Dunhuang,including the reconstruction of Cave 96;Second,she attended many Buddhist activities;Third,she often led the women giving offerings to monks.Her enthusiasm for Buddhism and her leading role in Buddhist activities had greatly promoted Buddhist culture at Dunhuang.She was another outstanding woman active on the political and cultural stage at Dunhuang after the Uighur Heavenly Princess.
