| 抄録 | In order to preserve our environment and form a consensus between development and preservation according to the principle of sustainable development, speculation upon "What is Nature" is necessary. With this intent, the relationship between nature and human beings was investigated from the Buddhist viewpoint. The aim of this article is to investigate the Buddhist view of the universe and nature. This article investigates scriptural sources of the Buddhist viewpoint of Nature. After that, analyzing the concept of Dharma, the relationship between the outer environment and sentient beings, and finally the viewpoint of nature in the thought of Huayan is examined. |
