抄録 | 1975年出土于西安北草灘的北周白石龕像製作於西魏末至北周初年,這組龕像應是北周時期佛教建筑上的鑲嵌藝術品。它在龕像樣式、造像特點、藝術風格等方面與同時期西安地區出土的北周造像有很大差異,展現出一種全新的時代風貌,在繼承關中、長安地區造像特征的同時,又融合了當時中原及南朝地區佛教造像因素,并對毗鄰的天水麥積山石窟北周造像產生了重要影響。
The white stone statues of the Northern Zhou dynasty discovered in Beicaotan, Xi’an in 1975 were engraved between the Western Wei and Northern Zhou dynasties. They were inlaid in the Northern Zhou Buddhist architectural style and differ greatly from the contemporary Northern Zhou images excavated from Xi’an in niche style, iconographic characteristics, and esthetic style. They exhibit a brand new style that not only inherits the iconographic characteristics of Guanzhong and Chang’an regions, but also absorbs iconographic elements from the Central Plains and the Northern Dynasties regions, exerting significant influences on the Northern Zhou images in the adjacent Maijishan Grottoes in Tianshui, Gansu province. |
