| 抄録 | 古代定州地區素以雕刻工藝發達而著稱於世。本世紀50年代曲陽修德寺出土大批北朝至隋唐精美的石雕佛像，被學術界譽為定州樣式。然而關於定州及附近地區的石窟寺卻極罕聞。1989年曾有人撰文，首次報道了鄰近定州的元氏縣封龍山石窟的現狀，始知定州附近地區尚存北朝時期的石窟寺。因此這一資料顯得十分珍貴。1994年9月，筆者有機會進行實地考察，對該石窟的開鑿年代和造像題材有些新的認識，下面就此問題略作分析和研究。
The temple is a rare early survival in the Dingzhou area, located 20 km to the north ofthe county seat of Yuanshi in Hebei. There are two main caves. Cave 3 has a square planand a quadrilateral pyramidal ceiling. Three walls are each provided with a niche. It is datedto somewhere between the Northern Qi and the Sui dynasties, judging by its inner struc-ture. Cave 2 of a rectangular plan is provided with an altar in the center, a structure typicalof the Tang and Five Dynasties. The statues of Cave 3 include the three Buddhas(past, pre-sent and future) and thirty-five Buddhas. Such combination is paralleled only by theDazhusheng Cave at Baoshan, Anyang in Henan. The grotto must have something to dowith the famous monk Lingyu who built the Dazhusheng Cave on the one hand and beganhis life as a monk at the Yingjue Temple of the Longyingshan on the other. |
