抄録 | 杭州飛來峰有一組五百羅漢像,在前人關於飛來峰的論述中,多次提到了飛來峰青林洞的北宋羅漢群像,但均沒有明確指出所屬何種羅漢組群。通過比較其他像例,筆者以為,這些羅漢像應屬未完成的五百羅漢,也是中國現存最早的保存較為完好的五百羅漢像。本文對五百羅漢的起源、宗教職責、名稱等問題進行了探討,以期探明印度羅漢中國化的進程。
There is a group of five hundred Arhats sculptures at Feilaifeng Cliffside in Hangzhou. Although the Arhat sculptures of Northern Song Dynasty have often been mentioned in the previous discussions of Feilaifeng Cliffside, whom are they referred to has never been identified. By comparing them with other cases, the author argues that they should be a part of unfinished group sculpture of five hundred Arhats and also are the best-preserved sculptures among the similar cases in China. This paper discusses the issues concerning five hundred Arhats, such as their origins, religious responsibilities, and names, in order to ascertain the way in which Indian Arhats were expressed and accepted in Chinese culture. |
