| 抄録 | 1944年國立敦煌藝術研究所成立,從此,敦煌莫高窟開始了有效保護、管理與研究的歷史時期。1949年中華人民共和國成立后,更名為敦煌文物研究所,制定了"保護、研究、弘揚"的方針,加大了保護、研究的力度,陸續開展了大規模石窟加固,壁畫、彩塑維修,壁畫臨摹,敦煌石窟歷史、壁畫內容研究等多項工作。1984年,敦煌文物研究所擴建為敦煌研究院,機構得以擴大,多學科專業隊伍得以形成,步入了國際合作、科學保護、敦煌學多領域研究、敦煌文化藝術在國內外廣泛展示和弘揚的新階段,敦煌事業得到了全面長足的發展。
Since the inception of National Research Institute on Dunhuang Art in 1944, the Mogao Grottoes site has welcomed a period of effective conservation, management and research. In 1949, the National Research Institute on Dunhuang Art was renamed the Research Institute on Dunhuang Cultural Relics. Since then, the guidelines of "conservation, research and promotion" have been established, and conservation and research have been reinforced. Various work, such as the large-scaled consolidation of the caves, restoration of the murals and statues, mural copying, and research on the history of Dunhuang caves and the contents of the murals has been gradually carried out. The Research Institute on Dunhuang Cultural Relics was expanded,becoming the Dunhuang Academy in 1988, with a multi-disciplinary team. This marked a new era for international cooperation, scientific conservation, multi-field research, extensive display and the promotion of Dunhuang culture and art at home and abroad.
