| 抄録 | 놀이는 시간과 공간을 초월하며 인간의 삶 속에서 공통적으로 보이는 문화현상이다. 특히 유아에게 있어 놀이는 다양한 경험을 제공해줌과 동시에 전인적 발달을 하는데 있어 매우 중요한 역할을 한다는 것은 이미 잘 알려진 사실이다. 이런 의미에서 본다면 불교 민속놀이는 유아들에게 불성함양 뿐 아니라 종교에 내재되어 있는 올바른 삶의 자세와 방식 등을 자연스럽게 습득하도록 하는데 있어 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것이라 생각된다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 불교 민속놀이의 종류와 내용은 무엇이며, 또 유아발달에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 요소들은 무엇인지 살펴보았다.
문헌 및 선행연구를 통해 살펴 본 결과 불교 민속놀이의 종류는 대표적으로 연등놀이, 탑돌이, 삼회향놀이, 백중놀이가 있었으며, 이 놀이들의 공통적 특징은 불교적 축제로서 세대, 연령, 신분의 구분 없이 온 국민이 참여하여 즐기는 종합예술형태의 놀이라는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 놀이들의 유아 교육적 가치에 대한 분석절차와 결과는 다음과 같다.
먼저 민속놀이가 유⋅아동 발달에 어떠한 효과가 있는지 객관적인 분석을 하기 위해 유아교육 및 관련 전문가 26명을 대상으로 델파이 조사를 하였으며, 이를 통해 선정된 문항을 본 연구에 활용하였다. 수집된 응답들은 spss 12.0 프로그램을 이용하여 평균과 표준편차를 계산하였다. 객관적으로 선정된 문항을 통해 한국 민속놀이 중 불교 민속놀이인 연등놀이, 탑돌이, 삼회향놀이, 백중놀이를 분석한 결과 이 놀이들은 유아의 신체발달, 창의성 발달, 사회성 발달, 정서발달에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 요소들이 있음을 알 수 있었다.
Play is a cultural phenomenon commonly shown in lives of humans transcending time and space. Especially, it is a well-known fact that play provides diverse experiences to infants, at the same time, acts importantly in holistic human development. If we see play in this meaning, it is thought that folk play of Buddhism has an effect on gaining naturally correct attitudes and ways of life which are included in the religion as well as cultivating the nature of Buddha. So, this study examined what kinds and contents of Buddhist folk play are and what elements having a positive effect on the development of infants are.
From the result through literature and preceding studies, kinds of folk play of Buddhism were representatively lotus lantern play, play circling a pagoda, Samhoehyang play, and Baekjung play. It was found out that they are Buddhist festivals and the common features of them are types of a composite art that all the people participate without being separated from generations, ages, and social positions.
The analysis procedure and results about educational worth of the play are like the next.
First, to analyze objectively what effects folk play has on development of infants and children, Delphi research was conducted targeting 26 experts of infant education or related with the education. Selected questions through this were utilized in this study. The average and standard deviation for the collected answers were calculated using the spss 12.0 program. Through objectively selected questions, from the result of analyzing lotus lantern play, play circling a pagoda, Samhoehyang play, and Baekjung play as Buddhist folk play among Korean folk play; it was found out that these kinds of play influence positively on body, creativity, sociality, and emotion development of infants. |
