| 抄録 | 自晚清以來，敦煌石窟藝術蜚聲中外，外籍學者赴莫高窟考察者漸多。1948年9月，時任北京大學客座教授的印度漢學家師覺月一行三人赴敦煌考察。本文利用師覺月當年的報告等史料，對師覺月敦煌之行的歷史場景略加探討，或可為敦煌學術史以及現代中印人文交流畫卷補上一筆。
Since the late Qing dynasty, the art of the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang has become famous throughout the world and attracted the interest of more and more foreign scholars. In September1948, the celebrated Indian Sinologist P.C.Bagchi made a trip to Dunhuang with two of his students. This article makes use of the report collected in the National Archives of India that Professor Bagchi submitted after his visit to discuss the historical context of his visit to Dunhuang. Study on this topic will help reveal the complex history of Dunhuang Studies and the history of cultural exchange between modern China and India. |
