| 抄録 | 백파는 참선수행을 위한 결사에서 수선작법과 결사의 이념을 분명하게 내세웠다. 수선작법으로는 結社文의 19장 전체에서 말하고 있는데 그 내용은 12가지로 분류된다. 이들 12가지 주제는 궁극적으로 보살도를 지향하는 대승정신으로 드러나 있다. 그 과정으로는 먼저 正眼을 구비하고 선정에 대한 강한 믿음을 바탕으로 하여 화두수행을 위한 자세한 설명과 깨침에 대한 강의 의지와 출가의 본분사에 대한 다짐 등으로 이루어져 있다. 그 특징으로는 실제의 수선결사에서 활용할 수 있는 방식으로 이루어져 있다는 점과 기존의 교학을 수용하여 禪理에 근거한 수선을 강조했다는 점을 들 수가 있다.
이와 같은 12가지의 내용은 근본적으로 간화선을 지향하는 입장에 있으면서도, 실제의 활용에 있어서는 不變과 隨緣과 我法과 人法과 기타 여실한 언교를 통한 교학적인 배경에 근거한 다양한 선리를 활용하였고, 나아가서 여러 가지 방편문을 수선의 방식으로 활용하는 모습을 보여주었다. [社中規繩]에서는 결사에 참여한 사람들이 지향해야 하는 목표를 달성하기 위하여 이념을 표방하였다. [社中規繩]의 이념은 우선정리하면 頓悟 → 大憤志 → 持戒 → 切磋啄磨 → 正命 → 平等 → 懺悔의 과정으로 설정되어 있다. 먼저 돈오를 통한 발심을 내세운 점으로 벽관좌선을 통하여 선정바라밀을 구현해야 할 것을 드러낸 것이다. 둘째는 중생의 성품의 본질을 바르게 깨우쳐 자각하여 지혜바라밀을 구현해야 할 것을 드러낸 것이다. 셋째는 지계를 준수한다는 지계바라밀을 구현해야 할 것을 드러낸 것이다. 넷째는 인욕바라밀로 절차탁마한다는 인욕을 구현해야 할 것을 드러낸 것이다. 다섯째는 올바른 생활방식으로 정진한다는 정진바라밀을 구현해야 할 것을 드러낸 것이다. 여섯째는 대비심을 실천하는 보시바라밀을 구현해야 할 것을 드러낸 것이다. 일곱째는 결사의 본분을 다하는 것은 곧 화합의 덕목이어야 함을 말한 것이다. 육바라밀의 수행은 六和로서 승화되어야 한다는 것으로 서로간의 다짐이면서 목표를 향한 결의이기도 하다. 이와 같이 [사중규승]의 이념은 육바라밀의 보살도에 있음을 엿볼 수 있었다.
Backpa-Gungsun(1767-1852) was one of the great seon-master at the last Josun-dynasty. He set up the structure of his idea and framed the method of true enlightenment through the right faith and practice on the basis of Dharma-eye and right view. His idea is well expressed of in his written by The SU-SEON-GYULSA-MOON. He wrote this writing to lead the disciples into the true enlightenment through the systematic training of sitting-meditations.
The SU-SEON-GYULSA-MOON written for the true training of sitting-meditations, and the principle of practice of sat-paramita, mean six-kind pf practice by which a bodhisattva can reach the other shore of enlightenment. The SU-SEON-GYULSA-MOON was consisted of nineteen chapters but the contents are twelve sorts. The ultimate aim of these themes are the pursuit of the spirit of Bodhisattva in Mahayana Buddhism.
These items consisted mainly of the right view, the confidence of dhyana, the will about the topic of conversation, the pledge of enlightenment and duty. And he considered the best way to reach the final states of the enlightenment that positively abandon every knowledge and enter directly into sitting-meditations. The buddhist text were introduced in SUSEON-GYULSAMOON. The spices are sixty five, fifty eight are buddhism, and the other several confucianism text were introduced.
The detail method of sitting-meditations are as follows. (1) Having of right eye and the pursuit of wisdom → (2) the awakening bodhi mind of the buddha′s teaching and the theory of seon → (3) the abandon every knowledge and enter directly into sitting-meditations → (4) the training of the topic of conversation → (5) the daily life of awakening and nirvana → (6) the self awakening of one′s duty → (7) the intention of the spirit of Bodhisattva. The detail principle is sat-paramitas. These are donation, observance of precepts, endurance, effort, meditation and wisdom.
