| 抄録 | 호은 유기(好隱有璣. 1707-1785)의 문집인 『好隱集』을 중심으로 그 문학세계를 살펴본 결과 다음의 특징을 확인할 수 있었다. 먼저 시가 분야에서, 대사가 고려 말 조선 초 이후 맥이 끊어진 전통적인 修道詩(禪歌)를 다시 창작한 점, 그리고 전통적인 구비 율격인 3, 5, 7음절을 활용한 악부시의 창작과 함께 다양한 변체 한시를 창작한 점이 주목된다. 그리고 이 같은 대사의 구비 율격에 대한 관심은 국문시가에 대한 편찬으로 이어진다. 『신편보권문』에 수록된 불교가사 <서왕가> <회심가>는 기존의 국문 가사를 편집한 것인데, 장황한 내용을 문맥에 맞게 삭제하고 국문 문체를 국한문체로 고아하게 바꾸는 등의 작가적역량이 발휘된 것이다. 산문 분야에서, 대사는 記文을 다수 창작하였는데, 이들은 특히 저자가 주석했던 달성 부근 여러 사찰과 해인사의 중창불사의 양상을 파악해 볼 수 있는 자료적 가치가 있다. 이 기록들은 문학적 자료를 넘어, 건축사 미술사 등 다양한 영역에서 지역문화 연구의 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 상량문을 다수 지으면서도 상량문의 유행과 폐해, 연원에 대해 저자의 소견을 밝힘으로써 상량문 자체에 대한 탐구의 필요성을 제기하고 있다는 점이 주목된다. 대사의 문집에는 화엄학 연구의 고조, 염불신앙의 융성이라는 18세기의 사상적 경향이 잘 드러나 있다. 또 대사가 청허휴정, 편양언기, 풍담의심, 상봉정원, 낙암의눌의 법계를 잇고 있다는 점을 고려할 때, 대사의 문집은 청허당, 편양당의 법맥이 영남 지역에서 전승되는 맥락을 복원하는 데 긴요하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
This study identified the following characteristics by exploring the world of Hoeun Yugi focusing on the Collected Works of Hoeun Yugi (好隱有璣, 1707- 1785).
Primarily, in the field of poetry, Hoeun the great Buddhist monk wrote again the traditional religious practice (Zen poetry) that was not inherited in late Goryeo and early Chosun, and he notably wrote Sino‐Korean poems with various byeonche (transformed body) along with creating narrators of poetry utilizing traditional oral meters, 3, 5, 7 syllables.
His interest in oral meters of Hoeun the great Buddhist monk led him to publish Korean language poetry. Buddhist verses such as Seowangga and Hoisimga published in Sinpyeonbogwonmun were edited from existing Korean verses, in which he deleted lengthy content according to context and changed Korean verses more elegantly into a mixed style of writing Korean with Chinese characters in it.
In the field of prose, he created many works, which were valuable in that we could identify the Jungchangbulsa of various temples near Dalseong and Haeinsa which he commented. These records could be utilized for local cultural studies in various fields such as architecture and art beyond literature. Composing many verses to celebrate completing the wooden framework of a house, he specified the popularity of verses to celebrate completing the wooden framework of a house and its origin and harmful effects. By doing that, he raised the necessity of research on verses to celebrate completing the wooden framework of a house themselves.
In his collected works, ideological trend in the 18th century such as domination of Hwaeomhak and prosperity of faith in Buddhist prayer was predominantly shown. Considering that he inherited Cheongheohyujeong, Pyeonyangeongi, Pungdamuishim, Sangbongjeongwon, and Nakamuinul, his works can be utilized to restore the context of Buddhist doctrine by Cheongheodang and Pyeonyangdang inherited in Yeongnam area.
