| 抄録 | 이 논고는 만해 한용운의 정신과 사상을 추모하고 계승하고 있는 단체를 연구하는 일환이다. 지금껏 한용운의 생애, 사상, 문학에 대한 연구는 축척되어 있지만 만해를 추모하고, 계승한 단체에 대한 연구는 부재하였다. 필자는 만해를 추모하고, 계승한 개인과 단체에 대한 연구도 만해학의 범주에 포함해야 한다고 본다. 그래서 수년 전부터 만해와 연고가 있는 개인을 연구하여왔다. 그러나 이제부터는 만해와 관련이 있는 단체에 대한 연구를 시도하고자 한다. 이런 배경하에서 나온 이 글에서 필자는 다음과 같은 측면을 주목하였다. 첫째, 한용운 전집의 발간 직후 대학생불교연합회에서 추진한 만해 정신 추모, 계승의 내용을 살핀다. 둘째, 대학생불교연합회에서 추진한 한용운 전집의 보급 운동의 개요, 성격을 정리한다. 셋째, 1975년 직후 대학생불교연합회에서 민중불교운동의 시작과 한용운 사상과의 관련을 정리한다. 이 글이 만해학의 확장, 대학생불교연합회의 연구, 민중불교 이해 등에 도움이 되기를 기대한다.
This article is part of a study of organizations that memorialize and inherit the spirit and thoughts of Han Yong-un in Manhae. Until now, studies on the life, ideology, and literature of Han Yong-un have been accumulated, but there has been no research on the organization that has succeeded in commemorating Manhae. I believe that Manhae should be remembered and the research on individuals and organizations heirs should be included in the category of Manhaehak. So, for many years, I have been studying individuals who are related to Manhae. However, from now on, I would like to attempt a study on groups related to Manhae. In this article under this background, I have noted the following aspects. First, we examine the contents of the Manhae Spirit memorial and succession promoted by the University Buddhist Federation immediately after the publication of the complete works of Han Yong-un. Second, the outline and character of the movement for dissemination of the complete works of Han Yong-un promoted by the College Student Buddhism Association are summarized. Third, the association between the beginning of the Minjung Buddhism movement and the thought of Han Yong-un in the University Student Buddhism Association immediately after 1975 is summarized. We hope that this article will be helpful in the expansion of Manhaehak, the study of the University Students Buddhism Association, and understanding of Minjung Buddhism. |
