| 抄録 | 이 논문에서는 천태종(대한불교 천태종)의 삼대강령의 실천방안에 대해 검토하였는데 그 범위는 천태사상과 고려시대의 천태사상으로 제한하였다. 삼대강령의 첫 번째는 ‘밝은 자아의 실현’이다. 2장에서는 밝은 자아의 실현의 방법으로서 천태사상의 4종류 삼매와 십경십승관법을 검토하였다. 4종류 삼매에서는 다양한 수행법을 포용해서 수행의 폭을 넓힐 것을 말하고 있고, 십경십승관법에서는 수행의 깊이를 추구할 것을 말하고 있다. 삼대강령의 두 번째는 ‘밝은 생활의 창조’이다. 3장에서는 이것의 실현방법으로 두 가지를 제시하였다. 하나는 바람직한 불교적 인생의 사례를 제시한 것이고, 다른 하나는 천태의 25방편 가운데 인연에 얽힌 일을 줄이라는 것과 선지식이 필요하다는 것이다. 삼대강령의 세 번째는 ‘밝은 사회의 구현’이다. 4장에서는 이것의 실현방법으로 4가지를 제시하였다. 첫째, 4실단인데, 이는 중생을 교화하는 방법론이다. 둘째, 운묵무기의 수행방법의 회통이다. 이는 중생을 교화하기 위해서는 여러 가지 수행방법을 수용할 수 있다는 것이다. 셋째, 천책의 삼교일치설인데, 이는 세상을 교화하기 위해서는 불교에만 한정할 필요는 없고 유교와 도교도 효용이 있다면 받아들일 수 있다는 것이다. 넷째, 대각국사 의천이 동전을 만들자고 건의한 것이다. 이는 당시의 고려사회의 문제점을 바로잡기 위해서 제안한 것인데, 현대에도 계승해서 사회문제를 바로잡기 위해 노력하는 것으로 수용할 수 있다.
In this paper, I will study practical plan of three fundamental principles and the scope of the study is limited to Tiantai thought and Koryo Tiantai thought. The first of three fundamental principles is ‘realization of bright self’. In chapter two, I study four kinds of samādhi and ten objects-ten vehicle meditation of Tiantai thought as the method of ‘realization of bright self’. Four kinds of samādhi is to widen the scope of pratice and ten objects-ten vehicle meditation is to purse depth of pratice. The second of three fundamental principles is ‘creation of bright life’. In chapter three, I present two ways as the method of ‘creation of bright life’. One is to present the example of desirable buddhist life, and the other is to reduce a relationship affair and to need a good and virtuous friend in Tiantai’s 25 skillful means. The third of three fundamental principles is ‘the imprementation of a bright society’. In chaper four, I present four ways as the method of ‘the imprementation of a bright society’. The first is four siddhāntas, which is methodology to enlighten sentient beings. The second is Unmuk’s interpenetration of practice, which is to accept various practice for the sake of enlightening sentient beings. The third is Cheonchaek’s unity of the three teachings, which is to accept Confucianism and Taoism, and not to insist only Buddhism for the sake of enlightening the world, if Confucianism and Taoism are useful. The fourth is for Uicheon to suggest making coins, which is to correct the problems of Korye society at that time and which we can accept as the method to correct the problems of Korean society. |
