| 抄録 | 臺南學重要人物盧嘉興是臺灣史研究的先驅之一，於 1964 年以《鹿耳門地理演變考》一書榮獲中國學術著作獎，另有《輿地纂要》、《二層行溪與蟯港》、《臺南縣志稿》與《臺灣研究彙集》24 冊等書。其關注的議題相當多元，諸如赤嵌樓與鹿耳門的研究、鹽場與鹽制的相關研究、孔廟改建的問題、媽祖信仰的問題、臺灣佛教的考察、歷史人物行蹟的探索，以及古蹟的考證與維護等，都作出開拓性的研究。盧氏作為「臺灣佛教研究」的先驅，其〈臺灣最早興建的寺廟〉、〈臺灣的第一座寺院――竹溪寺〉、〈臺南古剎彌陀寺〉、〈北園別館與開元寺〉、〈夢蝶園改稱法華寺年代考〉、〈蔣允焄擴建法華寺〉等針對早期臺灣佛教的考察，頗為學界所關注。本文就「前人有關盧嘉興佛教研究之評述」、「盧嘉興與佛教的淵源」與「盧嘉興臺灣佛教研究的特色、影響與侷限」而論，以凸顯其佛教研究成果。
The important character Lu Chia-Hsing of the Tainan Doctrine is a pioneer in the study of Taiwanese history. He received the Chinese Academic Writing Award by Lu Er Men Di Li Yan Bian Kao (Archaeological Studies of Luermen’s Geography) in 1964 and is the author of “Er Ceng Hang Qi Yu Rao Gang (Erren River and Jockan),” “Tai Nan Xian Zhi Gao (The Gazetteer of Tainan).” and 24 volumes of “Tai Wan Yan Jiu Hui Ji (Collection of Research on Taiwan).” He has focused on various issues, e.g., the study of port Provintia and Luermen, studies related to salt fields and salt systems, issues regarding the remodeling of the Confucius Temple, belief of Mazu, observations of Buddhism in Taiwan, exploration of historical characters and verification and maintenance of ancient relics via pioneering study. As a pioneer of “Study in Taiwanese Buddhism," his “Earliest Temple established in Taiwan,”“First Temple in Taiwan - Zhuxi Temple,” “Tainan Ancient Mituo Temple,”“Beiyuan House and Kaiyuan Temple,”“Study on name change of Dream Butterfly Park to Fahua Temple,” and “Expansion of Fahua Temple by Chiang, Yun-Shun” were all observations aimed at Buddhism early in Taiwan and highly valued by the academic circle. The study discusses the“evaluation of predecessors to Buddhism study of Lu,
Chia-Hsing,”“the relationship between Lu, Chia-Hsing and Buddhism,” and “the features, effects, and restrictions on Taiwan Buddhism’s study of Lu, Chia-Hsing” to point out his Buddhism research results.
