Hanshi (1608-1685), who had servel thousands disiples and developed deeply Caodong sect of Zen, was a venrable Zen Master in late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. This article focuses on Hanshi's way to anuttara-samyak-sambodhi and his view of zong-qu, in order to explose that his dana is not only based on his hight moral character, but also his perfect enlightenment and Buddhist thoughts.
